Barbeque

This past weekend we went to barbeque [BBQ] in Peze. It's a village by my city, Tirana. On the way there I was thinking : "It would be really nice if Martin decides to go to the beach." The temperatures were really high and all I could think of was the sea and getting tanned. Well at least I got a little tanned because of the dress I wore I was able to get some color on my upper body. It's only the beginning of summer. We have plenty of time for adventures at the beach. Next week we are planning for a trip to our community pool.

Going out or Staying home

Nowadays we have a big dilemma. Sometimes mami feels lazy and prefers to stay home and relax on the couch while Grandma and Grandpa takes care of me.

Everytime I wear this onesie I sing : We are living in the yellow submarine, yellow submarine, yellow submarine!!! The Beatles still rock my socks off.




Ohhh trying to get up by my own. Well it's not my fault people!! From the belly down I look like mami, which has its pros and cons.




As you see we decided to go out. By the way: I am a woman of character. I promised last time that the hot spot will be on Teze Rudi and VIOLA here it is!! [ Auntie Bora just called me asking who is Viola... Apparently french is not her thing. uala- albanian translation]

The first real haircut

Last Sunday since uncle Martin was home, mami decided to cut TT's hair. This time it was not just a tiny bit. The show ended on Grandpa's b-day, so on Sunday TT was going to be bald. And this is where babi Barry will have a heart attack. I'm just jocking around. She will have the latest haircut. Uncle Martin besides being an excellent dentist is also known to be a good hair stylist. The most famous in Southern Europe. [Well I'm actually lying but what can I say he's the Godfather. I've got no other choice but accept the fact that he will cut TT's hair for the first time, and after I saw the results it will be the LAST time.]

Bedtime

TT has been taking 2 naps during the day. They last 1-2 hours. She takes the first nap after breakfast and the other one after lunch. TT is not very excited when it comes to going to bed. She would rather be up and playing with her toys or cruising with her walker.

Godfather

On May 28th which is Grandpa's and Auntie Bora's Birthday we celebrated another event. It was TT's first time to cut her hair. Uncle Martin had the honor to be the Godfather. I went to answers.com to find out the meaning of the word "Godfather". Here it is :

So I take it like this : Uncle Martin will sponsor her for the rest of her life which will include college, wedding, birthday parties, trips to Europe, buying nice expensive jewelries, etc. I like the idea of having Martin as her Godfather.

New tricks

I know how to wave goodbye. Every time I hear "Pacim" [Bye] I automatically wave. This happened to me the other day when 2 people said Pacim to each-other I raised my hand and waved to them. Of course I know how to show respect for the aged and also I stand up in the presence of the elderly [mami's age.] I have pictures to prove this.





Ohhh the joys of being an only child!!! Love every second of it!!!

Letters to Tatiana

Dear Tatiana,

I just want to thank you today for being my baby. Thank you for choosing me to be your Mami. It is a privilege to raise you. You have been such a good baby to us- for eating well and sleeping well. You are full of surprises, I'm talking about the good ones. I don't think I had a bad day since you were born. This doesn't mean that I didn't have an exhausting day. Well, you bring such a joy in my life and I'm not saying this to make things better. You are my angel, star, princess, sunshine, flower, my everything! I only hope I will teach you to do good in this world. And even when you will make mistakes, don't you ever think that I don't love you.

You will never be alone. I'm referring to your father being next to you [non stop] and to the readers : Yes you were way off when you were thinking about TT having a brother or a sister :)

Baby Shower

Yesterday we went to a baby shower. The first pit stop was at Coin's [it's a mini mall.] I say pit stop because at Coin's Mami wanted to take pics of me and Auntie Bora, but they had No Photography policy. So there was no need to spend any of our precious time there. So we went to the baby party. This way mami could eat bakllava and other delicious food.

Probably some people have no clue what Bllok means. This is where mami went out everyday when she was in her teens. This is the best place to be for the adolescents in Tirana. If you are above 15 this is where you belong. This is IT!! So mami, her friend Iva and my friend Darlin spent a delightful afternoon enjoying each other's company.
