Sacramento Town

I don't know when I will get all caught up with the blog but I promise one of these days I will upload all the summer pictures. It's officially fall so I better keep my promise. Well let's describe our great experience in the Sac town.

I feel like I'm seventeen! Yea, I wish... add another decade and you will get my age.

This is the trend right now. At every blog that I've been to there is at least one picture like this. I feel like I'm in high school and trying to fit with the rest of the cool kids (in this case with the cool blogs:)

They were filming a movie and it was an interesting experience for us to be there.

This particular boat is my favorite. It's called Delta King and probably 4 years ago Barry's best friend got married here. It brings back good memories. Maybe not to his friend because he ended up getting a divorce.

My lovely parents.

Isn't my mother gorgeous? It's not hard at all taking good pictures of her. She's a natural at this.

Then TT woke up from her nap and joined us.

Love her faces. This is the "shocked" face.

Nena and Tata are always taking good care of her.

Day 2: Pearl Harbor

Day 2

We started it off with a tour in Pearl Harbor by going through the museums. It was very sad because just a little had changed from the days of the atomic bombs. We put our imaginations at work and it wasn't a beautiful view anymore.

Everyone's attention is on the monitor.

The smart one figured it out the documentary finished, so they left. The gal next to TT thinks she is the show now.

All day today we sung Barney's song " Oh, we are flying in an airplane, Looking out the window, Watching the clouds go by. Flying in an airplane, Looking out the window, Up so very high..." TT was showing how an airplane flies and here are the airplane shots.

The weather was perfect, sunny with clouds around, appearing whenever it got too hot to handle.

After the long day we went relaxing at the Waikiki Beach for a quiet afternoon. *See Daddy's already taking a nap*
Building sand castles because TT is daddy's princess and wherever she goes she needs her castle.

Playing.

Getting ready for family portraits. First one is obviously a big fail.

Second one... hmmm.. of course it's a success :)

Because Moms and daughters are meant to have fun together, it's a Heaven's recipe!!!

Day 1: Aloha

Day 1

As soon as we arrived from the airport we went to Waikiki Beach. In the first picture you can spot the surfers in the beautiful ocean background.

It was very crowded. I'm guessing because there were numerous famous hotels.

Parade to support Japan.

Then we went to Ala Moana hotel for a luxurious dinner.

They had hula dancers. And of course TT got her spotlight by the singer who was calling her to come on the stage.

Airplane Ride

We had to wake up early in the morning to catch our 8 am flight to Honolulu. I was predicting a total meltdown from TT. I was surprised at how good she handled herself. I was prepared to walk her down the isles but fortunately that didn't happen. She had her own seat, not that it would make a difference, because mostly she was staying in our seats.

We hadn't taken off from the ground yet. Here she is with her grandparents eating croissants.

After she fed herself, already in pajamas, took her blanket and slept for a good 2 hours on Mami. Then she woke up and played with Daddy.

See Grandpa & Daddy are sleeping, that's a good indication of how well behaved I was. There was no screaming, otherwise the whole plane would purchase earplugs.

ps. Now on our way home... ohhh... that's a different story!
