Pool time

We are back at our summer routine. Every Monday most of the Mom's group goes at Denise's pool.

She loves being around Downa and other kids. But when it comes to sharing let's just put it this way: She struggles with it.

This is the guilty face. I finally caught it on camera. This is what I get when TT has done something she knows she is not allowed to do. Let me give some examples: Walking around the house with Mami's shoes on; Going to the bathroom and stealing Mami's make-up (if she puts it on, is considered double-trouble); Taking Nena's glasses (yesterday she broke them); Typing on our new I-Pad (I don't care anymore about our PC's or I-Phones) and the list goes on.

Eating healthy chips. She is really enjoying them because I don't let her eat chips or sweets like candy or chocolate or ice-cream. Geez, now that I mentioned them I realized that by all means I am NOT a fun Mom !

She loved being by herself.

Can't believe how grown up she looks in this picture. Standing by herself in the pool!! I could not be any prouder of her. I don't get heart attacks anymore when she approaches the pool. Don't misunderstand me, I'm still watching her, but now by my comfy pool chair.

Train goes Choo-Choo

Ne shkuam ne Mountain View sepse gjyshi i binjakeve brune ka nje tren te vogel. Ne fillim TT-ja e mori me qejf duke imituar edhe trenin, por kjo nuk zgjati me shume se 2 xhiro me tren. Tatiana e madhe e mbante ne preherin e vet por prap TT kishte frike.

4th of July

Happy Independence Day America!!!

My Mom and I made the flag with lots of cupcakes.

We started the day with a picnic. The typical american breakfast : pancakes and sausages... mmm delicious!

For dinner we went for a Barbecue at the Bianchi's.

TT kept stealing sausages from Aaliyah's plate.

Then we did some damage with fireworks.

Santa Cruz [Part I]

Well before we start with our adventure in Santa Cruz I wanted to get something off my chest. What's up with the 2 year olds being so protective over their stuff?! When Tatiana get's up she will have her blankie with her and during the day if she sees it she will shout from wherever place she's at "mee meee meee, mine, mine, mine." Then it continues with her sippy cup, toys, spoon, fork, TV remote control, shoes, you name it! You know when they say "You got to choose your battles" I really don't know what battle to choose with her. Maybe I'll go surf the internet and come up with something that will work for us.

For 4th of July weekend we went to Santa Cruz Boardwalk, which is the best!! It's like a Disneyland for toddlers.

But first let's go to the beach. If I smile I get to watch Caillou. So here we go, take 1.

Finally I get to enjoy the beach all by myself.

Okay let me give Mom what she wants so hopefully she will disappear. Wait, dreams don't come true do they?

I knew it... she's back!!!

The weather in the bay area is almost perfect. Hot during the day and cool at night. That's why we got our jackets on. If it's after 6 PM you better have a little something over your shoulders.
