Walking

Mom forgot to mention that the trip back to Cali was great for TT but not as much for Mami. TT slept most of the time. She ate and walked on the plane for the first couple of hours and then slept in Mami's arms for another couple of hours and then for 5-6 hours in the bassinet that Lufthansa provided for us. Mami on the other side did not sleep, she took a few naps, but she kept an eye open on TT. Mami's wisdom tooth cut in while flying up in the air. The flight attendants were nice enough to give her painkillers, which helped to a great extend. Speaking of flight attendants. They nominated TT "the hero of the day." Previously I indicated that TT walked around for a little bit. After a while Mami got tired of chasing after TT, so she was holding her in the bathroom area. There she heard an angry woman being mean to one of the flight attendants. Mami was being nosy- she wanted to listen to their conversation when all of the sudden she hears something falling down at her feet. TT grabbed a Coke bottle with her tiny hands and threw it down the aisle. Ohhh then Mami hears a scream from the angry woman "My shoes, my shoes, they are ruined!" Mami got embarrassed from what just happened and quickly enough she apologized. The angry woman did not care. Her husband came to our rescue and told her not to have a break down and calm herself. As soon as she left, the flight attendants came to Tatiana giving high fives and saying "Good job little girl, you are the hero of the day!" To keep the story short, after that we got the first class treatment.

TT looks like she is holding her trophy.



As soon as Tatiana woke up on Friday she was walking really fast, more like running. Her walk has progressed incredibly fast. The pictures are not the best quality, a little bit blurry. [Well she was on her high-speed walk.]




After practicing for several hours Mom thought she could let TT stand by herself in the kitchen while she was frying potatoes. TT was playing in the kitchen cupboard. While walking she tripped over a mat and bumped her face into a sharp corner of the cupboard. Very scary to watch. I thought she would be bleeding everywhere. But fortunately she did not. It is easy to hide the worst scratch, the bangs will do it.
