Tatiana just turned 6 months old today. The government thought about her birthday gift this time. So thoughtful of them to mail her passport just on time. Couldn't planned it better myself.
Well let's see the milestones for this month:
* Makes attempts to feed himself or herself - check
* Smiles, laughs, squeals and begins to imitate sounds - check
* Can be content in a playpen for a while playing with one or two toys - check
* Can bear weight on his or her legs when held in a standing position (she even walks forward when I hold her in a standing position.) - check
* She has discovered herself in the mirror, and loves having conversations with this new little friend - check
* Your baby now can sit on her own. Especially today when she was playing on the floor sitting up for a few minutes without falling down - check
* She digs her fingers and toes into the floor to push herself toward a favorite toy [which in her case is Elmo.] - check
* She can pass objects from one hand to another - check
Tatiana has been reveling a whole different side of her nowadays. She is enjoying her social-butterfly status. This is the main reason that I've been taking total advantage of it by exposing her in my social outings. When I'm out and about, she starts conversations with strangers aka. mami's friends. Yesterday we went to a Superbowl Party and of course when Tatiana made the grand entrance everyone's face lit up. It was funny when one of my friends, Jonika, offered her friend, Regina, to hold TT and Regina said "Well I'm not really into babies." And then after 10 mins Regina asked me if she can hold Tatiana. Enough said :P
When TT wants to be picked up she will not only use her voice but also prefers to raise her arms and of course as soon as I pick her up I'm prepared for squeals of delight.
